Good morning!! The November release from MFT Stamps is now available and it’s full of fantastic winter-themed products!! I was lucky to receive a few items to play with this month and I’m excited to share a card with you today using the gorgeous Fantasy Florals set!!
I just love this beautiful floral image (especially the succulents!) and was excited to color it! I started by stamping it twice onto a panel of white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossing it with clear embossing powder. Then I colored it with copic markers using the following shades:
- Succulents – V000, V12, V15, V17, G000, G12, YG45, G28
- Foliage – BG72, BG75, BG78, G000, G12, YG45, G28
- Anemones – V000, V12, V15, V17
- Roses – R85, R89, R56
Next I die-cut the older Happy Birthday die from the floral panel and kept all the pieces. I also die-cut it three times from black cardstock. I adhered the black cardstock pieces together and then puzzle-pieced them into the floral panel. Then I added the inner pieces of the white panel back in to the centers of the letters and topped it with the white letters. The dimension from the black cardstock allows the sentiment to be easily read!
Finally I finished the card by adding a thin layer of nuvo crystal glaze to each letter just to give it a little more definition and shine! It’s a small extra detail but I think it adds a lot to the finished card!
And that’s it! Head over to MFT Stamps to check out the full release! Thanks so much for stopping by and have fabulous day!
