Good morning! I’m back with another solo sponsor for Coffee Loving Cardmakers…this time we’re featuring My Favorite Things!
I decided to mix two of my favorite things, coffee and cats! 😉
A few days ago I was working in my craft room and my cat was fast asleep on table with her tail curled almost entirely around my coffee mug. I tried to get a photo but forgot to turn the volume off on my phone first and as soon as she heard the phone she woke up…*sigh*. But it was definitely the inspiration for my cards today!
I stamped three cats from I Knead You and colored them with copics. Then I die-cut the coffee, hearts, and mugs from Hot Cocoa Mugs and attached a stitched detail to the mugs. Next I stamped the sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Coffee onto a brown stitched fishtail banner and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I dry-embossed the card base with a dimensional embossing folder and then adhered all of the elements. To finish the cards I added a little sparkle to the hearts on each mug.
And then it was photographing time…and Rogue decided to help. This is pretty much my daily photography process…arrange cards, remove cat, rearrange cards, frantically take photos before cat invades again! 😉

So cute, both the cards and the cat. I have a cat similar to yours. If and when she is home when I try to craft a little, she lies down on my work surface right in front of me. And her daughter like to walk around on my (messy) crafting table, especially if I’m working with wet media lol.
OH my gosh. i have a hard enough time taking pictures. if there was a cat involved you all would never see another picture taken. lol she is such a cute kitty though who could resist her? oh, i’m loving your cards hugs, treen
