During Mama Elephant’s most recent release week I saw this gorgeous Freestyle Floral stamp set and had to have it! I didn’t have a lot of time to craft this morning but I wanted to do a little watercoloring so I put together these little cards! I like to keep a few cards in the back of my planner in case I need a quick thank you or congratulations card!
I stamped the flower with Memento Luxe Rose Red pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I watercolored the flower with Picked Raspberry distress ink. For the orange flower, I stamped the flower with Memento Luxe Morocco pigment ink and then watercolored it with Ripe Persimmon distress ink. I wanted this one to look more like a marigold so I darkened parts of the flower in a circular pattern.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts So Kind stamp set onto vellum and heat-embossed it with Ranger Platinum powder. I cut the vellum into a fishtail banner and glued it to the flower. Then I adhered the flower to the 3.25″ square card with foam mounting tape. Bright, cheery, and quick! 🙂
Thanks for visiting!
