This is my second post today! If you’re looking for my sneak peek for The Ton please scroll down or click here!
Happy Monday! I was organizing my stamps this weekend and realized it’s been awhile since I’ve used the Purrfect Pair stamp set from Mama Elephant. I was also looking at the cute Three Amigos set and was trying to figure out how to use it and then this idea just came to me!
So I think I used 3 different Mama Elephant stamp sets and 1 die set for this card but I love the way it turned out! I apologize for the slightly odd looking photo…I didn’t finish it until the sun had set and the flash seems to want to make one side of the photo much warmer grey than the other. But it’s just a lighting thing…the card is the same color on both sides! 😉
I started off by die-cutting the window from the Peek A Frames die set and then using a pencil to mark where I wanted it to lay on a piece of white cardstock. Then I stamped the kitties and sentiments with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear powder. I also stamped the mouse from Ella and Friends onto a piece of scrap paper and heat embossed it with clear powder. I colored all the animals with copics and added a little clear wink of stella for some extra shimmer.
To assemble the shaker I die cut the window shape from a piece of patterned paper and adhered the patterned paper over the white cardstock. Then I did the shaker in reverse so I’d be able to see what I was doing. Since I had the outline die-cut in the patterned paper it was easy to see where the tape needed to go so I applied the foam mounting tape directly to the white cardstock and then filled it with Glass Slippers sparkling clear sequins from The Ton. I laid the black window die-cut over the foam mounting tape and pressed down to secure it! Finally, I mounted the panel onto dark grey cardstock and gave it a shake to mix up the sequins!
Thanks for visiting!
