So I thought I was finished with that challenge…but I was clearing out some stuff in my craft room today and found my huge stash of paint swatches from our house-building time and thought they would look neat woven together.
They’re pretty similar so I won’t spend too much time describing them individually. I just took a paint swatch and cut it down into strips of varying lengths. I wove them together (adding a few strips of silver glitter paper to the blue toned one just because I like sparkly things!) and trimmed the edges to different lengths for more visual interest. Then I mounted them to a white card base and added a sentiment cut from black cardstock from the Papertrey Ink Wet Paint Cuts die set. To finish the cards I embellished them with black onyx or silver Neat and Tangled or Pretty Pink Posh sequins and used my clear wink of stella brush pen over the sentiment to add a little shimmer. I used a corner punch on two of the cards and left the third as is. They’re great, fast, and easy cards to add to my stash!

Nice clean, crisp, and pretty cards!
