Good afternoon! Have you heard about MFT’s Card Design Superstar Contest? I entered last year and had a lot of fun so I thought I’d give it a try again! Here’s my first entry!
When I saw those Spooky Sweets pumpkin stamps I knew they’d be perfect for a pumpkin spice latte themed card! 🙂 I stamped the pumpkins with two shades of orange ink using the rock and roll technique and die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next I die-cut the mug and whipped cream and added a little shading (and cinnamon sprinkles!) with copic markers. I also die-cut the fancy flourish from green cardstock to give the impression of a pumpkin vine. I layered them all together on my kraft cardbase. For the sentiment I cut apart one of the Spooky Sweet sentiments and paired it with a sentiment from Hug in a Mug. I stamped them on vellum and heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder. I die-cut the vellum with the stitched fishtail banner and adhered it to my card with vellum adhesive.
The perfect way to celebrate my love of pumpkin spice lattes! 😉 Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!
