Good morning! I’m thrilled to be a stop on the hop of the Pinkfresh Studios Washi release blog hop today! I’ve created four cards today using the new washi tapes and stamps and dies along with some older Pinkfresh Studio products!
My first card uses just products from the new release with my all-time favorite embossing powder! 😉 To start I placed the Eucalyptus Fantasy washi tape on a piece of white cardstock and used the coordinating Eucalyptus Fantasy stamps to stamp over the washi tape with versamark and heat-emboss it with gold tinsel embossing powder! There’s flecks of metallic gold in the washi tape so the embossing powder is a perfect match! Then I die-cut the eucalyptus with the coordinating dies.
Next I took my versamark pad and swiped it a few times over an A2 panel of white cardstock before sprinkling it with gold tinsel embossing powder. I tapped the panel firmly a few times to dislodge some of the embossing powder before heating it. I didn’t want solid coverage but a more organic wash of embossing powder and a few firm taps helps achieve that! I stamped the sentiment from Eucalyptus Fantasy onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed that down to a thin label and adhered it over my eucalyptus arrangement. Then I used foam mounting tape to adhere the arrangement over the gold embossing powder to finish the card! Simple but striking! 🙂
Then, of course, I had to play with the rainbow washi tape! 😉 I spread the Rainbow with Splatters tape across white cardstock and trimmed down three panels. Each section of the tape has a slightly different pattern so I used two of the full rainbow panels and one panel of teal and purple!
Next I die-cut the Hi sentiment with the Adore Alpha dies using black cardstock twice and black glitter cardstock once. I separated the outline from the solid word and layered the black cardstock and glitter cardstock together to create thicker words. Then I stamped a few of the Floral Elements with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies.
I adhered them over the rainbow panels and then adhered the panels to a white card base. I love when you can get two cards out of one die! 🙂
Last, but not least, my last card uses the teal and purple rainbow washi with more die-cuts! Again I die-cut the Dainty Blossoms and Hey with two layers of black cardstock and one layer of black glitter cardstock and adhered them together.
I adhered the washi tape panel to a black card base and then added the die-cuts to finish the card! These gorgeous washi tapes would allow you to create a ton of cards super easily!
And that’s it!

So hard to pick a favorite of all that you made. But I love the fact that you not only use the outside of the cut die, but the inside. I am a paper Miser and try to stretch cardstock as long as I can. I can see the sky would help. And the rainbow washi tape is so colorful how can you not smile seeing the card created.
