Good morning! Today I’m hopping along to celebrate the September release from Pinkfresh Studio and it is full of fantastic holiday products!! I have two cards to share using two of the new sets!
First up is the stunning Ornate Poinsettia coverplate die! This card was a labor of love but I am so happy with how it turned out! I die-cut the panel and individually ink-blended each piece using Pinkfresh Studio inks and then carefully inlaid them back into the outline design. I used Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose, Passion Fruit, Marigold, Mint, Sky Blue, and Sapphire inks for this card! You could use colored cardstock to make it a much easier or faster design but I really love the dimension you can achieve with ink-blending!
After I put it all together I stamped a sentiment from Our House to Yours on black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I trimmed it down to a thin label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape! I finished the card by adding crystal glaze to the center of the flowers.
My second card is a magical rainbow neighborhood perfect for the Grinch! 😉 I stamped the houses from Our Home to Yours using Ballet Slippers, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Mint, Sky Blue, and Soft Lilac Pinkfresh Studio inks and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
I blended a background using Sky Blue and Summer Shower ink and then splattered it with shimmer spray and white gouache to create a snowy sky! Finally I added some gold embossed touches with the sentiment and garlands and adhered the houses with foam mounting tape!
And that’s it for me! Make sure to check out the new release and all the giveaway details below~

Wonderful cards I really like that new poinsettia cover plate.
Both cards are lovely, but I don’t have the patience to color all the poinsettia parts like you did! I will, however, definitely be using the little house stamps and dies for many occasions.
Both of these cards are stunning! But I particular like the slim line card with the trails between the houses! So fun! The touch of gold really adds a classic look as well!
Gorgeous cards!
Wonderful examples!! Thank you for sharing!
Hi, Jessica – Your poinsettia card is exceptional. I mean: WOW! I don’t know that I have the skill level or patience to do it the way you did it, but I could make a less involved version of it now that my husband has sprung for a die-cut machine for me as my early Xmas gift. I also very much like your little village scene w/ the beautiful background and cute little houses. Thanks for the inspiration, as always, and thanks for the discount on the awesome ink storage trays that JUST arrived from Organize More. I owe you for that!!
Both cards are really beautiful. I love the new release. It is fantastic.
