Good morning! I’m just popping with a quick card using the pretty Center Cut Heart background stamp from Simon Says Stamp with some sparkly embossing powder and vibrant ink blending!
And I also want to start sharing some quick process videos (no voiceover) and my first one is up with this card! You can watch it below or over at my YouTube channel!
To start I blended Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Candied Apple distress ink onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock. I let it dry and then placed it in my MISTI. Next I removed the center of the Center Cut Heart and stamped it onto the panel with versamark before heat-embossing it with gold tinsel embossing powder. Without removing the stamp from my MISTI lid I fit the center of the heart back inside and then removed the rest of the stamp. This time I inked the stamp with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder to allow that center heart to really pop! I trimmed the panel down to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered it to a white card base.
Next I die-cut the Script Hello die from gold glitter and black cardstock and adhered them together before adhering them to the card panel. To finish my card I added a few sparkly black jewels! And that’s it! I’d love to know your thoughts about quick videos (versus full length tutorials) and I hope to have more to share very soon! 😉
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
