STAMPtember Exclusive: Mama Elephant – Snow Kittens (+VIDEO!)

It’s time!!  It’s time!!  The highly anticipated Mama Elephant exclusive STAMPtember collaboration set is here!!!  The GORGEOUS stamp set is called Snow Kittens and it is a must-have for your holiday and winter card-making! I created a holiday shaker card with copic coloring and ink blending and I have a quick video tutorial sharing how it came together!  You can watch the video below or over at my YouTube channel! (And make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to enter my September $100 giveaway!)

To start I stamped the images from Snow Kittens with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder before coloring them with copic markers.  I used the following colors:

• Cats – E40, E70, E71, E74, E77, and E79
• Scarves – BG10, BG11, BG15, and BG49
• Snow – T0, T1, T3, T5
• Bird – Y32, Y38

I don’t have the dies so I used my ScanNCut to cut them out.  Then I blended a panel of tumbled glass, shaded lilac, and dusty concord distress oxide ink.  I splattered the panel with water and white acrylic paint and let it dry.

Next I added layers to my blended panel with the On the Hills die set and added my single cats and their snowballs.  Then I built a shaker frame using the Park Avenue die set and added a triple layer of foam mounting tape.  I filled the shaker with snowballs, seed beads, sequins, and glitter for a super sparkly holiday card!  I sealed the shaker and then added my sentiment flag and snow kitten stack on top to finish the card!  And that’s it!
