Good morning and Happy New Year! I’m sharing my first post of 2023 and it’s for a fun release from The Rabbit Hole Designs! There’s a new illustrator for the company this year and she’s adding some adorable new stamps to the company! You can check out the full release HERE but I’m playing with Love Puffins today!
Aren’t those puffins freaking adorable?! I just love them!! I stamped the images from Love Puffins onto white cardstock with copic-friendly black ink and colored them with copic markers. I used neutral grey copics for the grey/black colors in their bodies, Y355, Y38, YR04, YR07, and YR09 for their beaks, and BG11, BG13, BG15, BG49 and B32, B34, B37 for the hearts.
After I was finished coloring I die-cut them with the coordinating dies and then die-cut strips of cardstock in aquas and blues to match the hearts. I adhered them to my card base and then added the puffins on top with foam mounting tape. Finally I finished the card with a few white gel pen accents, shimmer marker on the hearts and cheeks, and a little nuvo crystal glaze on the hearts!
