Good morning and happy Monday! I’m excited to be sharing a card made with the new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs! This release features the sweetest otters and sea animals from Agota Pop as well as a new floral set designed by Kelly Taylor!!
Today I’m using Otterly Adore and the Making Waves stencil! I stamp the otters and heart with versafine, heat-emboss them with clear embossing powder, and color them with copics before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I use my favorite E70, E71, E74, E77, and E79 combo for that soft grey-brown fur along with a little R00 and R02 for their noses and ears! The heart is colored with RV14, RV25, and RV29.
Next I blend a ocean background of Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Uncharted Mariner distress oxide inks. I splatter the panel with water and shimmer spray and let it dry. Then I use the various ocean plants in the Making Waves stencil to create a shadowy silhouette. I blend Uncharted Mariner with a heavier hand and use Chipped Sapphire distress oxide inks to create the subtle and not-so-subtle designs! I stamp a sentiment in navy blue ink and die-cut it with the flag die from the You’ve Been Framed die set. I adhere the sentiment and images with foam mounting tape and finish the card with a few accents with a white gel pen! I just adore those otters!! Ack!
I hope you’ll stop by and check out the full release…it’s full of must-haves! Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
