Good morning! The September release from The Rabbit Hole Designs is now available and today I’m sharing a card using the adorable new No Lion stamp set!
I started by stamping the main image from No Lion onto a panel of distress heavystock panel with copic-friendly black ink; and without re-inking the stamp, I stamped it again onto a piece of masking paper. I fussy cut the mask and placed it over the lion. Then I masked off the ground and blended scattered straw, dried marigold, and seedless preserves distress oxide ink over the panel. I moved the mask to cover the sky and then blended a little black soot distress oxide ink for the ground. I splattered the panel with water and shimmer spray, dried it, and then removed the mask!
Next I colored the image using copic markers. I used shades of purples and yellow for the flowers to match the distress oxide sky! I added a sentiment from No Lion heat-embossed onto black cardstock with white embossing powder and added a few accents with a white gel pen to finish the card!
