Good morning and Happy Monday! Today I’m excited to share a few Halloween cards with the adorable new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs and Agota Pop! Just wait until you see the Halloween kitties!!
To start I stamped the Silly Pumpkins onto a panel of distress heavystock cardstock and onto a piece of masking paper. I fussy cut the mask and placed it over the stamped images. Then I added masks for my ground and moon. I blended tumbled glass, salty ocean, wilted violet, and black soot distress oxide ink around the moon. Then I splattered the sky with opaque white paint and shimmer spray. Once that dried I removed the moon mask and blended squeezed lemonade distress oxide ink randomly over the moon and spritzed it with water. I also blended black soot distress oxide ink for the ground.
I removed the pumpkin mask and colored them with copic markers. Then I stamped the adorable pumpkin kitty from Meowgical and colored him with copic markers before die-cutting him with the coordinating dies. I also stamped a sentiment from the same set and trimmed it down to a thin label. I adhered my kitty and sentiment with foam mounting tape and added the spiderweb in the opposite corned. Finally I finished my card with a few white gel pen accents.
My second card is much more CAS and features another kitty from Meowgical!
Originally I had colored this cutie for my first card but ended up deciding he’d make things a little too crowded. So I ink-blended a big full moon with squeezed lemonade distress oxide ink and added the kitty and a sentiment from Meowgical! We unexpectedly adopted a mostly black kitty a few weeks ago and I decided to use him as inspiration for this card! It’s hard to see in the photo but he has a little patch of greyish white on his chest that I think will be more prominent as he gets bigger.
