Good morning! Today I’m popping in to share a quick card I created using stamps I colored for The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge! 🙂
I just love this adorable Group Hugs set from Waffle Flower! It is so charming and sweet with all those cute critters!! And it makes me laugh because in that scenario I’d totally be the short fluffy sheep! 😉 Anyway, I’m continuing my goal of actually creating cards with the images I’m coloring so here’s what I put together for today!
I colored the Group Hugs set by Waffle Flower with copic markers and then die-cut it with the coordinating dies. I also stamped part of the sentiment on white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I stamped the rest of the sentiment on black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I trimmed the white cardstock to thin labels and die-cut the ‘hugs’ word with the coordinating die included in the set!
To create my background I blended tumbled glass, blueprint sketch, and chipped sapphire distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. Then I splattered it with water, diluted chipped sapphire and blueprint sketch oxide ink, and shimmer spray! I blotted off the excesss and let it dry completely. Once it was dry I adhered the critters and hugs with foam mounting tape and then used regular ATG adhesive for the label sentiments. To finish the card I added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to their cheeks and the heart and a thin layer of crystal glaze to the heart!
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!

Your colouring of the sheep’s face is amazing. The rest is too, but how you do it, I just don’t know
