Good morning! I’m having way too much fun with these little stars from Butterfly Reflections Ink! I mixed several fun stamp sets from My Favorite Things and came up with this shaker card!
I started off by stamping the fox from the Cute Critters stamp set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the fox with copic markers and added a ton of clear wink of stella glitter! Next I took a piece of black cardstock and die-cut the circle with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles. I stamped the sentiment from the You Were Meant to Sparkle stamp set onto the top of the black panel and heat-embossed it with Ranger silver embossing powder. Next I cut another panel of black cardstock and lined it up with the front panel so I could see where the circle would fall. I used a pencil to lightly mark the circle and then stamped part of the word ‘fox’ from the Cute Critters stamp set and heat-embossed it with the same silver embossing powder.
Then it was time to assemble the shaker! I liberally filled the shaker with the Fuchsia, Iridescent White, and Silver sparkling stars! After the card was assembled I realized that I had slightly offset the top panel; but, I trimmed down the panel and then cut a thin frame from a bright pink glitter paper and added it to the edge of the card. I actually like the way the frame makes the fuchsia in the shaker pop! As Bob Ross always said, there are no mistakes…only happy accidents! 😉
