I decided to make a shaker card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: We’re Seeing Stars. Unfortunately it didn’t photograph very well but that’s partly the cat’s fault as you’ll see later…
I used the Simon Says Stamp Stars Parade die and cut it twice, once from black cardstock and once from mint green glitter cardstock. I mixed the two together and created the shaker card. I filled the card with sparkling clear sequins and silver stars from Pretty Pink Posh, mint sequins from Neat and Tangled, and embellished the front of the card with some of the leftover mint green glitter stars.
So yeah, I apologize for the less than stellar photograph. Rogue had been sleeping peacefully throughout my crafting session but suddenly decided that this card (and this card only) needed to be destroyed. Apparently she is not a fan of shaker cards. I didn’t have much opportunity to experiment with lighting before she went on a mission to eat the card and I had to put it away. Oh well…win some, lose some…
