Happy Monday! I hope you’ve been enjoying the Summer of Stamping over at Ellen Hutson! Today we have one more Essentials by Ellen release followed by a week of inspiration to wrap up the Summer of Stamping! I’m using the fun Stay Cool set to create a graphic and modern design (with a little sparkle, of course)!
I love all the abstract shapes in the Stay Cool set and how they can be combined to create a variety of designs! I decided to create a simple ocean sunset by stamping the lines with Cummerbund and Fiesta Blue ink and the sun with Limoncello and Tiki Torch ink. Then I ink blended a second panel with Cummerbund and Fiesta Blue ink and a third panel with Limoncello and Tiki Torch ink and set them aside to dry. I also added a sentiment stamped with Cummerbund ink.
Once the panels were dry I stamped the aqua panel with versamark and heat-embossed it with Hero Arts clear sparkle embossing powder. I die-cut the yellow panel with the new Yasss die and added a little more Tiki Torch ink to the bottom. I used the Rectangle Frame dies from Ellen Hutson to die-cut my panels and then adhered them to a top folding white card base. To finish the card I added spectrum noir clear sparkle to the sun and then added a little nuvo crystal glaze to the bottom and sprinkled it with chunky and prisma glitter! It’s blinding when it catches the light!!
