This is my second post today…if you’re looking for my Craft Storage Ideas post, please scroll down or click here!I am thrilled to be participating in the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I caught the first one with about an hour left and missed the most recent one. So when I saw the announcement I made sure to write it down on my calendar! The idea is to create a coffee, tea, or cocoa-themed project with a spring theme! So, here’s my card!
Ha, when I heard spring I couldn’t resist using the peeps from the Candy Jar Companions stamp set from My Favorite Things! I used the MFT Perk Up stamp set for part of the sentiment, the mugs, and steam and the Lawn Fawn Love You a Latte stamp set for the short steam. To create the bottom sentiment I used words from the Winnie & Walter The Big, The Bold, and You set as well as the Candy Jar Companions set.
Then to assemble the card I cut the various images with the Stitched Rectangles and Squares from Simon Says Stamp. I took a piece of Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate card stock and stamped several mugs from those sets with WPlus9 ink in Coconut Husk and adhered it to a top-folding card of Neenah Desert Storm card stock. Finally I adhered the main image with glue dots and then used foam mounting tape for the sentiments.
I think it fits the criteria for spring and coffee-themed! 🙂 Hope you’ll join in the fun over at the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, it runs through March 6th!! And lots of thanks to Amy and Chaitali for putting this all together!
