I told you I’d be sharing cards all month! 😉 I’ll be back with a fabulous blog hop tomorrow with lots of great prizes but I wanted to pop in with another fun card, this time with a Christmas theme!  I didn’t get to post for My Crafty Christmas collab in August but I’ll be back this month.  In the meantime here’s another Christmas card to get your holiday creative juices flowing!
Goodness guys, when I saw this stamp set I fell head over heels. Â If you didn’t know already I am a lifelong musician: I freelance for weddings and events and I teach piano and harp lessons as my fulltime gig! And of course, I adore bunnies…so a bunny playing a keyboard?! LOVE!
I didn’t go too wild with this card…just some copic coloring with some sparkly and shiny accents! Â I started by stamping the bunny and bear from Carol Singers onto white cardstock with copic-friendly ink. Â I colored them with copics and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them. Â Then I added touches of white gel pen to their scarves and little white stars to the bear’s sweater (to cover up an ink blooping mistake!). Â I added spectrum noir clear sparkle to the bear’s cheeks and their scarves and then applied a layer of nuvo crystal glaze to the ornament and the bear’s cheeks!
I masked off the bottom of a piece of white cardstock and then blended festive berries distress ink above it.  I stamped the sentiment and music notes from Carol Singers with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I adhered my bear and bunny with foam mounting tape and added a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins to finish the card!  Simple but fun and a perfect way to start off Kathy Racoosin’s The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic Friday!

My Mom was a music teacher, both piano and organ. Unfortunately I’m all left thumbs when it comes to keyboards! That bunny looks like it knows what it’s doing though.
