I guess technically my glittery pink flamingo is in a flock of boring flamingos (not pigeons)…but you get the idea! 😉 I definitely wanted a glittery pink flamingo to take center stage for my card! 😉 I started by stamping the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I created several masks of the flamingos by stamping them on post-its and cutting them out. I stamped several of the flamingos using slate ink. For some of the flamingos I used a second generation stamping to get the lighter impression. Then I added a touch of copic coloring to their wings and tails.
I used the pink glitter paper in the kit to die-cut my flamingo and then die-cut him a second time from black cardstock and layered them together to create a slight shadow. Finally I adhered him to the card with foam mounting tape for a little extra dimension! 🙂
