Hello and good morning!! I’m super excited to share that there’s a new Simon Says Stamp release, Fresh Bloom, and it’s available RIGHT NOW!! The release is filled with tons of gorgeous spring and Easter inspiration! Here’s a quick look at all the new release:

I’ve got lots to share this month but I’m kicking it off with two fun and floral cards!
I fell head over heels for the Pretty Peonies background stamp as soon as I saw it and I’m sure it’s going to be super popular! I started by stamping it on arches cold press watercolor paper with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I taped it to my hardboard and watercolored it with Daniel Smith watercolors. I used Quinacridone Rose, Quinacridone Pink, and Opera Pink for the flowers with a touch of Moonglow for shading. Then I used Cobalt Turquoise for some of the leaves and added a little Moonglow to the Cobalt Turquoise for the other leaves. I let the panel dry and then trimmed it down to an A2 panel.
Next I stamped a sentiment from Blossoming onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I used the Sentiment Label dies to die-cut it to a thin label and then adhered it to the panel with foam mounting tape. I finished the card with a few gold and pink sequins!
My second card is much simpler but the new Dahlia Stem die makes it quite striking! 😉 I started by masking off an A2 panel of white cardstock. Then I blended it with seedless preserves, victorian velvet, and spun sugar distress oxide ink.
Once the panel was dry I stamped the sentiment from Buttercup onto the panel with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I die-cut the Dahlia Stem from black cardstock and adhered it to the panel with liquid adhesive. Finally I added a few enamel dots to finish the card!
And that’s it! I’ll be back to share more tomorrow but make sure you shop Fresh Bloom soon for the best selection! All the products will be restocked but I have a feeling some are sure to sell out this weekend! 😉
