Good morning! I’m super excited to share a card using the brand new February 2017 card kit from Simon Says Stamp! This kit is full of fabulous coffee, cocoa, and tea themed stamps and products…perfect for the next Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! 😉 I have several cards to share with you over the next few days using this kit but this is probably my favorite!
I started by stamping the cups in a pattern across a piece of kraft cardstock that’s included in the kit. Then I chose one cup and stamped the included hearts on the side of the cup. Next I colored it with colored pencils. I’m still working on blending colored pencils but I’m really enjoying the practice! 😉
Next I stamped the sentiment with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I added a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle to the hearts, a layer of glossy accents to the coffee, and a little highlight with a white gel pen. After that dried I trimmed the kraft cardstock down and layered it onto a piece of patterned paper that came with the kit!
And that’s it! So yes…hurry over to Simon Says Stamp and get your kit! I predict this one will sell out pretty fast…don’t wait too long! 😉 Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!
