Good morning! I’m back with another card using the February 2017 card kit from Simon Says Stamp: Coffee, Tea, and Cocoa!
This is definitely a more CAS card but it has an unexpected pop of texture that I love!
I stamped that fun sentiment and the coffee cup with black ink and then added a little shading with copic markers. Next I stamped the cup onto the back of the corrugated paper (that’s included with the kit) and cut out the sleeve portion of the stamp. I adhered that to the front of the cup, trimmed the panel, and matted it to a piece of patterned paper from the kit for a little bit of color!
Clean and simple cards always intimidate me (mostly because I usually feel the need to continue adding more things to the card) but I’m really happy with the way this one turned out! I hope you like it, too! 🙂
And that’s it! So yes…hurry over to Simon Says Stamp and get your kit! I predict this one will sell out pretty fast…don’t wait too long! ? Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Glub glub glub, so beautiful and it woke me up. Just like the mortal cup, I can reach into the card and pull it out and drink. You are amazing!

Great card and sentiment, I’d just have to cross out the coffee and right tea, lol. Love the sleeve, looks realistic. I have that paper, thanks for the idea.
