Good morning! The Good Vibes collection from Simon Says Stamp is live now and it is FULL of must-haves! I have over 17 cards to share with you over the next few days but I’ll start with just four today (plus a giveaway at the bottom of this post)! Also, as a fun side note – the Dude card in the above photo is mine! 😉 Anyway, here’s a look at the amazing release!

And here’s my first card using one of most gorgeous and unique floral stamps I’ve ever seen:
Isn’t that beautiful?! I love the unique combination of thick and thin lines. I started by using my MISTI to stamp the arrangement from Strangeness onto white cardstock with intense black ink. Then I simply colored it with copic markers! It took quite awhile but I love the end results! I used the following copic markers: R000, R20, R22, R24, R29, YR0000, Y21, G03, G16, and G19.
I didn’t want to take the focus off my floral arrangement so I simply die-cut the Big Friend word with black and white cardstock and stamped the rest of the sentiment from Vacation Time onto black cardstock with versamark before heat-embossing it with white embossing powder. I adhered the friend die with regular adhesive and used foam mounting tape for the rest of the sentiment.
Next up are a pair of cards created with Suzy’s Good Vibes watercolor prints!
I love using these watercolor cards for easy coloring! They’re perfect for this month’s The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge!
For the first card I watercolored the ocean print using distress inks. I used peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch, and chipped sapphire for the waves and squeezed lemonade, scattered straw, mustard seed, and dried marigold for the sun!
Once it was totally dry I added chunky glitter and prisma glitter along some of the image lines. I also added nuvo crystal glaze to some of the waves and sprinkled a little extra glitter onto the wet glaze. The shine and sparkle on this is SO much fun! To finish the card I simply trimmed it down and adhered it to a white card base!
For my second card I also used distress inks to color that adorable rainbow doodle. I used rainbow shades to continue the ROYGBIV from the actual rainbow to the sentiment. For this card I used candied apple, carved pumpkin, squeezed lemonade, twisted citron, mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch, dusty concord, and wilted violet distress inks. I also used a little hickory smoke to create shadows around the image.
Once it was dry I added prisma and chunky glitter to the lines of my rainbow and heart. I also added a few accents with a white gel pen. Then I added nuvo crystal glaze to the entire sentiment and sprinkled the wet glaze with a little bit of chunky and prisma glitter! Once it was dry I adhered the entire panel to a white card base.
My last card today uses another one of my release favorites, the Hibiscus Frame die:
I LOVE this hibiscus die…believe me, you’ll see it again from me VERY soon! 😉 For this card I decided to stick to some distress ink blending! I started by blending carved pumpkin, picked raspberry, and candied apple distress ink in a circular pattern on strathmore bristol cardstock. I also blended lucky clover distress ink onto another scrap of strathmore bristol cardstock. I die-cut the hibiscus frame die once from black cardstock and once from each of the blended cardstock pieces and once from gold glitter paper.
Next I applied a piece of stick-it adhesive to a white card base and then placed the black cardstock hibiscus frame die-cut over it. Then I inlaid the hibiscus flower, leaf, and background using the blended panels and gold glitter paper. I also die-cut the stamen from gold glitter cardstock and adhered it with foam mounting tape.
To finish the card I die-cut the Big Friend die from gold glitter paper and black cardstock and adhered it to the card panel. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment from Vacation Time onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I trimmed that down to a thin label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape.
