Good morning! I have a couple more cards to share using the Simon Says Stamp Good Vibes release! If you haven’t checked out the release yet I highly recommend that you do! As you can see here and here I can’t seem to stop playing with it! 😉 And of course I have one more hibiscus card to share!
This is probably my simplest card using the hibiscus frame but it might be my favorite! I just love those summery hot tropical colors! I started by blending Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks onto a piece of strathmore bristol smooth paper.
While the distress ink was drying I die-cut the Hibiscus Frame die from gold glitter paper and the sentiment using Everett Letters from black cardstock. I adhered the hibiscus with liquid adhesive and used foam mounting tape for the sentiment and the flower center!
My second card uses distress oxides and the pretty Debra wafer die! For this card I blended distress oxides in blueprint sketch, picked raspberry, peacock feathers, and wilted violet onto a piece of strathmore bristol smooth paper and then I spritzed it with a water bottle to create some lighter splatters.
I die-cut the Debra panel with black cardstock and the sentiment twice, once with gold glitter cardstock and once with black cardstock. Once the oxide inks were dry I adhered the Debra panel with liquid adhesive. I kept the black cardstock sentiment intact and added a piece of scotch tape behind the rectangle to keep the outline from shifting. Then I adhered it with foam mounting tape and added the gold glitter sentiment words on top!
Pretty simple cards but I think the ink blending really makes them stand out! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday!
