Hello! I’m popping in with a quick card to share the Halloween release from Simon Says Stamp! The release is full of fabulous, spooky dies to create quick Halloween cards!
To create my card I die-cut the stitched rectangle and the Bare Tree from black cardstock. Then I die-cut the House on the Horizon from slate grey cardstock and the Friendly Ghosts from white cardstock. I blended a quick background using carved pumpkin (appropriate, right!), picked raspberry, seedless preserves, and black soot distress inks and then layered my landscape dies on top. I stamped the sentiment from If the Shoe Fits with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally I tucked my ghosts in with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape!
I love the wee ghost peeking out from the house! I added spectrum noir clear sparkle to each ghost for a little extra shimmer!
And that’s it! Took me about 20 minutes to assemble and most of that was ink blending! 😉 Make sure to head over and check out the new release from Simon and let me know what your favorites! 😉 Thanks for visiting and have a great evening!
