Good morning! Today I am excited to help Trinity Stamps celebrate their first birthday!! I had the opportunity to meet the owner of Trinity Stamps, Taniesa, earlier this year at SSS Create and she is an absolute sweetheart! I highly recommend checking our her fabulous company and all their great products! I’ll definitely be sharing more soon using the new release but for today I’m showcasing the gorgeous Succulent Sparkle stamps and dies!
Of course, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to do a little coloring for the Daily Marker coloring challenge with these pretty stamps and I decided to be brave and try a little no-line watercoloring! 🙂 I love how succulents fade from one color to another in real life and tried to emulate that in my coloring! Once I was done painting I die-cut them with the coordinating dies!
Next I did a little watercolor smooshing onto a piece of watercolor paper using acetate. I let it dry and then splattered less diluted watercolors on top for more vibrant splatters. Then I let that dry as well. Once it was dry I placed one of the stencils from the Catching Some Rays stencil set and applied a thin layer of moonstone paste over the stencil. I removed the stencil and then let that dry.
While it was drying I stamped a sentiment from Succulent Sparkle onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Once everything was dry I created an arrangement with my succulents and gems and adhered them to the stenciled panel with a mixture of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. Next I added the sentiment and a few new embellishments from the release. Finally, to finish the card, I added a layer of nuvo crystal glaze to the gems and sprinkled them with prisma glitter. This card just GLOWS when it catches the light! I wish I could share it with each of you! 🙂
To celebrate, Trinity Stamps is giving away a $20 gift certificate and an extra special birthday surprise! 😉 Comment on all hop stops for the most chances to win! You should have arrived from the amazing Jennifer’s blog and my sweet friend Kathy is next! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by, have an amazing day, and enjoy the hop!
