Tonic Stamp Club: Hey Snowmies (+GIVEAWAYS!)

Good morning!  Today I’m excited to be hopping along to celebrate the adorable Hey Snowmies release from Tonic Studios!  This fun set was designed by my super talented friend, Maria, and it was so much fun to work with!  The Hey Snowmies bundle contains a 6×8 stamp set with coordinating dies and stand-alone shape dies as well as a snowy stencil!  This versatile set has tons of options to create a variety of cute holiday cards!

And here’s what I created:

First I created an envelope using the add-on Slim Line Envelope Creator die set.  I die-cut the envelope from white cardstock and then used the embossing plate to add the embossed designs to both sides of the envelope.  Then I used scor tape to adhere the envelope together and added a label plate die-cut from the same die-set.

Next I blended a background for my scene using prize ribbon, blueprint sketch, salty ocean, and salvaged patina distress oxide ink.  I splattered it with water and then applied a thin layer of white pearlescent paste over the stencil to create my snowy sky.  I stamped the snowman family from Hey Snowmies with copic friendly black ink and colored them with copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies.  I tore a ground from white cardstock and then added a sentiment from the Hey Snowmies set to finish the card!

    Love the card. I get Tonic’s monthly kits, I am currently waiting for the November’s Pretty Petal kit. I y looks like another box card or something similar. I was wondering. back in July, you did a swatch card on the various Tonic Nuvo drops, gloss, glitter, vintage, etc.
    I was wondering if you have updated your list with the new newer colors and types of drops, like the stone drops, glow, etc.
    I created my swatch cards using your downloadable pdf and it came out great, but I have 17 colors from the different types of drops that were not on the list. So I just thought I aske before attempting to make a chart like yours on my own.
