Good morning! Today I’m thrilled to be joining two of my favorite crafty friends for a mini insta-hop showcasing new products from The Stamp Market! Caly, Emily, and I are showcasing three different ways to use the gorgeous new Some Kind of Wonderful floral stamp set and I’m giving one away, too!
To start I smooshed picked raspberry, festive berries, and seedless preserves distress ink onto a piece of acetate and spritzed it with water mixed with a drop of Inkon3 Liquid Pixie Dust. I blended the ink together with my fingers and then I pressed it to a piece of watercolor paper. I held it in place for 30 seconds to give the ink time to soak in and then lifted the acetate. I smooshed a little more festive berries and seedless preserves ink onto the acetate and spritzed it but this time I didn’t blend it quite as much. I pressed it over the wet watercolor paper for a little more variation and then let the ink dry completely.
Then I stamped the pretty floral stamp from Some Kind of Wonderful with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold glitter embossing powder. I added a few accents to the flower and leaves with copic markers. Then I masked off the flowers and splattered the panel with picked raspberry, festive berries, and seedless preserves distress ink. After that dried completely I splattered the panel with water and quickly sprinkled it with gold glitter embossing powder. The water holds the powder (as just as versamark would) and allows for some pretty sparkly splatters! Finally I die-cut the Thanks So Much sentiment with gold glitter and black cardstock, layered them together, and adhered them with foam mounting tape to finish the card!
Amy has kindly given me a set to giveaway to one lucky reader! To enter leave a comment and let me know your favorite flower! And don’t forget to check out Emily and Caly’s take on the same set for lots of inspiration!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!

While I love roses (that was my grandmother’s name and they always remind me of her), I think stargazer lilies are my favorite…they are beautiful and smell heavenly! I just bought and planted one out my back door to make me happy this summer 🙂 And it’s right next to my rose bush…best of both worlds!

Dear Jessica
Love the background you created and love the flower too. I don’t know to explain in detail as I am a new crafter but I love your card to the moon and back. My favourite flower is tulip. For some reason the red tall flower with a hint of black in the middle make me so happy. Love and hugs as always

I love so many flowers, its hard to choose a fav. I have always had a thing for tulips and love when they are in HUGE bunches or fields of them. Since crafting I’ve fallen in love with hollyhocks, poppies and magnolias!!! Of course I’m obsessed with poinsettias in the winter too… love coloring them in white, gold, and blue in addition to the traditional reds.
