Good morning! I’ve got a quick pair of cards to share today! I’m visiting my parents and internet is not quite as speedy here so I’m going to keep it brief!
I recently picked up this cute Neat and Tangled stamp and wanted to make a fairly simple card using it as the focus! I’m not usually big into layers but thought this would be a fun way to play with patterns and textures! I used a scalloped edge die and stitched rectangle dies to cut all the patterned paper and kraft cardstock. I heat-embossed the sentiment with gold tinsel embossing powder and popped it up with foam mounting tape for a little extra sparkle and dimension! Finally I added a little kraft and gold twine and enamel dots! I tend to hoard patterned paper and this was a great way to actually use some of my stash! Here’s a closer look at each card…one is more teal and floral:
And the other is more pink!
These were quick to put together and it was fun figuring out what papers to mix and match! I also have the Neat and Tangled Pumpkin stamp…I may have to make a fall-themed set, too! Oh and I did get one card mailed out today. I brought a stack of cards with me and I’m hoping to work on them tomorrow!

Hey Jess, love the Kraft paper with the gold embossing. Love the patterened paper, it pops without talking away from the image and sentiment. Thanks for sharing and inspiring. ?
