All the new growth in my garden has me dreaming of summer flowers so I decided it’d be appropriate to break out the Tim Holtz Flower Garden stamp set for the first time! I love how realistic the flowers look and decided to focus on the coneflower for today’s card!
I stamped the flower twice with versamark and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I painted it with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I stamped a third flower on a scrap piece of paper, watercolored it, and then fussy cut it to adhere with foam mounting tape over the other two for a little variation in dimension. To finish the card I die-cut the sentiment with brown glitter paper and added a sprinkling of sequins from The Ton. I trimmed the watercolor panel and adhered a strip of brown glitter paper to the panel before mounting them to a brown cardstock base. I like the little extra sparkle it adds!
Thanks so much for visiting! And just as a heads-up, I’m participating in an extra special blog hop tomorrow with two fun giveaways so make sure to stop by in the morning!
