Good morning! I’m excited to be a stop on the blog hop celebrating the March release from WaffleFlower! There are tons of great products for all crafty types in the release but I am most excited about the adorable dog-themed products and that’s what I focused on for my cards today!
To start off I used the new layering Paw Print stencil duo to ink blend these cool colors onto a panel of white cardstock! I used Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, and Shaded Lilac for the full paw and Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet for the accent shadow. Then I spritzed the panel with iridescent shimmer spray and set it aside to dry.
I die-cut the Over-sized Friend from black glitter and white cardstock and layered it together. I added a dog from Best Friend dies die cut from black cardstock and a subsentiment strip from the March Sneak Peek kit to finish the card!
For my second card I used the stencil to dry emboss the full pawprint onto a panel of kraft cardstock for subtle texture and dimension. Then I placed the accent stencil over the embossed design and blended a little contour ink onto the panel for a tone on tone look. It’s subtle but creates a really neat effect!
I die-cut the Bone and Bow dies from white cardstock and colored them with copic markers to add shading and depth. I adhered them together with foam tape for dimension and finished the card with a sentiment from Pawfect Sentiments (which is a must-have for pet lovers!!)!
And last but not least, the cards no one likes to make but the ones that are really good to have on hand. I die-cut the Window trio die from white cardstock to create an interesting stitched focal point. Then I blended Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Uncharted Mariner distress oxide ink onto a panel of white cardstock. I sprayed it with shimmer spray and water and let it dry. Then I adhered it behind the window.
I stamped the heart pawprint from Pawfect Sentiments onto the blended panel and a sentiment onto the white cardstock and heat-embossed them with gold glitter embossing powder. Finally I finished the card by die-cutting the Over-sized Friend from gold glitter cardstock.

A gorgeous array of cards! I love how perfectly you used the paw print stencil.
Fabulous cards, wonderful colors!
All your dog themed projects are ADORABLE! Love them so much! Thanks for the head’s up on the new supplies — can’t wait to check them out.
All of these are simply “paw”some! I especially like the pet sympathy card… not because that idea holds any positive for me, but because I have gone through 3-4 of that type of card lately and it’s a beautiful design that you have shared w/ us. Thanks for all these superb ideas, Jess! I know you love your four-footed wonders!

I like all your cards, but the 3d card with the gold and blue blending window is amazing.
Gorgeous ink blending with the paw print stencil. That’s a good one.
Cute and pretty cards.
Both of your doggo cards are very nice; I especially like the second one and it could be versatile for other themes, too. Thank you!
All three cards turned out lovely… Thank you for the inspiration!
