Good morning! I’m so excited to be a stop on the hop for the fabulous December Valentine’s release from Waffle Flower! Here’s what I created today using the adorable Sending Love and Secret Admirers set!
To start I stamped the hearts and mice from Secret Admirers and Sending Love onto white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copics and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of white cardstock and die-cut it with the speech bubble die from Secret Admirers.
Next I blended a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock with abandoned coral, picked raspberry, worn lipstick, and spun sugar distress oxide ink and splattered it with water. I blotted off the excess and dried it with my heat gun. Then I spritzed the panel with shimmer spray for a little extra sparkle! I set that aside to dry and then die-cut the retired Pinking Layers from white cardstock and layered it to the background panel at an angle.
I adhered my mouse and her sentiment and hearts to the front of the card with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. Then I added my other mouse to the inside of the card. Finally I added a liberal amount of spectrum noir clear to the girly mouse and hearts and added a thin layer of nuvo crystal glaze to the hearts to finish the card!
