Good morning! I’m so excited to be a stop on the hop for the fun March release from Waffle Flower! Here’s what I created today using the adorable Puppy Power and Oversized Hello sets!
You know I couldn’t resist a dog set!! 😉 I started by stamping the cute pups from Puppy Power with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I colored them with copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also trimmed the large set of pups down to fit onto an A2 panel. I also die-cut the Oversized Hello from black cardstock and stamped the rest of the sentiment from Holiday Hugs with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a thin label.
Next I masked off a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock and blended hickory smoke and black soot distress oxide ink on the bottom of the panel and then blueprint sketch, shaded lilac, and spun sugar on the top of the panel. I left the mask on the bottom of the panel and splattered the top with water. I blotted off the excess and let it dry. Then I splattered it with slightly diluted blueprint sketch and spun sugar distress oxide ink. I let that dry completely and then adhered it to an A2 card base. I adhered the long panel of pups and the sentiments with regular adhesive and then popped up the trio with foam mounting tape for a little dimension! I don’t think it was intentional but I love how that sentiment fits so perfectly with the pups!
