Today I’m playing along in the Mood Board Challenge for Winnie & Walter’s Birthday Bash! Here’s the mood board inspiration:
I loved the pink and gold combination! I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to paint the background of the card. Then I flicked the same colors, but less diluted, onto the card front and finished it off with drops of Hero Arts gold spray. I let the card air dry and then die-cut the Winnie & Walter sentiment from The Big, The Bold, And The Happy set with gold glitter paper. I adhered the sentiment with foam mounting tape over some looped gold metallic thread. Finally I finished the card with a sprinkle of gold sequins! The watercolor piece was adhered to a top folding card from Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink cardstock!
Here’s a close-up…I love the glitz and sparkle!
I’m hoping to get a few more cards into the Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash challenges before the end of the month! They’ve got some really fun challenges going and I’d LOVE that guest designer spot! 😉 Thanks for visiting!
