Hooray!! It’s that time again! The Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is here! I love celebrating all things coffee, tea, and cocoa with the super supportive and friendly crafting community!! This is always one of my favorite hops…and I look forward to being inspired all week long! Today I’m representing Lil’ Inker Designs and showcasing a brand new stamp and die set that is being released today! Here’s my first card (and don’t forget to check out the TWO giveaways at the bottom of this post!):
Isn’t that latte mug adorable?! To create my card I stamped the mug from Latte Love onto cardstock and added a little shading with copic markers. Then I stamped the holly from Rustic Christmas and colored it with copics. I used the coordinating dies to die-cut both images and then adhered the holly to my saucer.
…And then I went a little crazy. Ha! I really wanted a Christmas tree but I didn’t have a die that was quite as big as I wanted. As I was flipping through my Lil’ Inker Designs stash I stopped at the Leaf Pattern cover up die and realized that I could make my own tree from all of the leaves! So I die-cut the Leaf Pattern cover up die with green cardstock and set out to adhere the leaves together on a piece of wood-pallet patterned paper to form a Christmas tree. But it would be quite the boring tree without any decorations, right? Next I die-cut the Baubled Wreath with red cardstock and used the circles as Christmas ornaments! Once those were adhered I added a little clear spectrum noir sparkle to each ornament. I stamped my sentiment from Latte Love onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Finally I adhered my sentiment and my mug with foam mounting tape and added a sprinkling of metallic gold sequins to finish the card!
So earlier I mentioned two giveaways! Lil’ Inker Designs is one of the sponsors for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and she is giving away Latte Love and the coordinating dies! If you link up a card to the hop you’ll be entered to win!
But if you just can’t wait to have Latte Love you can head over to Lil’ Inker Designs and do a little shopping! Laura has several awesome coffee stamp sets (I’ll link to some of my favorites below in my supplies) and she’s offering free shipping today and tomorrow!
To celebrate the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop I’m giving away a $15 Starbucks gift card (or a gift card to Lil’ Inker Designs) to one random commenter! Leave a comment and let me know your favorite winter drink before 11:59PM EST on Friday, December 16th and I’ll announce a winner on December 19th!
